Central to the khutbah is the contrast between those who recognise what Allah revealed as truth and those whose hearts are “blind”—a spiritual blindness—emphasising that true guidance is taken by ulul al-albāb (people of sound wisdom). He stresses that Allah praises wisdom rather than raw intelligence, because wisdom leads to right choices and righteous living.
