Sometimes we hate things that are good for us, and we love things that are harmful for us. We should accept that only Allah has the full picture. Our judgement is very limited.
Musa alayhis salaam led the elders and men, the women and children of Bani Israeel to the mouth of the raging sea. With nothing to defend themselves, they turned back to see Fir’own, furious, and his henchmen – blades sheathed – racing towards them. But Musa knew that Allah would not allow the da’wah to be wiped away and annihilated.

Differences of opinion are quite normal and healthy. We must respect one another to strengthen Muslim unity. Always focus on the wider picture.
Where is the time when we had little money and belongings, but we could feed up to ten and twelve in a family? Now we have much smaller families and we earn huge incomes, but we are up to our necks in debt.
