20 years on and the notorious prison at Guantanamo Bay still stands. Innocent inmates still wait to be released. What Jesus means to me as a Muslim

By Omar Suleiman
“It is not an exaggeration to say that I could not be a Muslim without believing in Jesus. Islam has six articles of faith: belief in God, the angels, the divinely revealed scriptures, the messengers of God, the day of judgment and divine decree. The meaning of Purity

By Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad

All people go out early in the morning and sell themselves, either setting themselves free or ruining themselves.”
In this Friday Sermon, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad elucidates the meaning of purity in all its forms – from the purity of words and actions to the purity of our body as well as our inward & outward states.

Fourteen and a half centuries ago, our beloved Prophet Muhammad sws entered the gates of Makkah as a conqueror. But he entered without violence. He forgave his enemies. He conquered their hearts instead…”

Mind reading

By Shaykh Hasan Elwan
“Beware of mind reading. You can judge behaviour, but don’t judge intentions. Only Allah knows our true intentions. . We cannot do that. We must never ascribe motives to others’ behaviour. That will only provoke hostility and damage our relationships…”
