The meaning of Purity

By Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad
“The Prophet ﷺ said “Purity is half of faith, and the praise of Allah fills the scale. Glorification and praise fill up what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is a light, charity is proof, and patience is illumination. The Quran is a proof for you or against you. All people go out early in the morning and sell themselves, either setting themselves free or ruining themselves.”
In this Friday Sermon, Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad elucidates the meaning of purity in all its forms – from the purity of words and actions to the purity of our body as well as our inward & outward states.

The Powerless and the Night of Power

By Shaykh Sadullah Khan
“I reflect on the Night of Power, those it empowered, the once powerful, now powerless. Muslims; once the bearers of the torch of civilization, now victims of global injustice. Never in history has a community of faith been so displaced, so victimized on such a large scale as the ummah in the last 37 years. The fact that over sixty percent of all world refugees at present are Muslims bears testimony to that…”
