The Shortest Distance between a Problem and its\u00a0Solution<\/div>\n
is the Distance between your Knees and the Floor.<\/div>\n
The one\u00a0who kneels to Almighty Allah<\/div>\n
can stand\u00a0up to Anything.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

Alal Muslimeena Jami\u2019ah! We are living in an age of anxiety\u00a0and restlessness. A dramatic change is imperceptibly\u00a0overtaking the world. The\u00a0old order is rapidly disintegrating and the world is waiting for the\u00a0new order.\u00a0History tells us that such ages of restlessness have also been periods of birth\u00a0for\u00a0new movements and cultures. The world is in a grip of great tension and is\u00a0awaiting the\u00a0twenty-first renaissance of man.<\/p>\n

A most significant feature of our\u00a0present era is the re-awakening of a slumbering Ummah\u00a0and the widespread trend\u00a0of Islamic revival. After years of stagnation the world of Islam is\u00a0rising\u00a0up from its stupor and a new horizon, a new life, a new feeling of unity and a\u00a0new\u00a0feeling of justice, brotherhood, freedom and human dignity has been infused\u00a0into the\u00a0Muslim Ummah all over the world. Almighty Allah in His Infinite Mercy\u00a0and Bounty\u00a0declares in verses 1 to 3 in Surahtul Al Nasr:<\/p>\n

“When comes the Help\u00a0of Allah, and Victory,\u00a0And thou dost<\/i><\/div>\n
see the people enter\u00a0Allah’s Religion in crowds, Celebrate the<\/i><\/div>\n
Praises of Almighty Allah, and\u00a0pray for His Forgiveness;\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n
\n
for He is\u00a0Oft-Returning (in Grace\u00a0and Mercy).”<\/i><\/div>\n

Beloved People of Imaan! This current\u00a0trend of Islamic revival is visible throughout the world and\u00a0has within it the\u00a0possibilities of becoming the harbinger of a new age. But this revivalist\u00a0trend\u00a0can become the messenger of a New Age, a New Beginning and a New Era only if it\u00a0is\u00a0accompanied by an intellectual revolution – a thorough appraisal of the\u00a0intellectual and\u00a0cultural heritage of Islam and its representation to the world\u00a0in the language of today.<\/p>\n

The future of Islam is the future\u00a0of humanity, and if humanity has any future that I believe\u00a0with all my heart\u00a0that it has, there is a great and bright future in store for Islam. The\u00a0spiritual\u00a0battle that the Muslims are fighting today is not a losing battle,\u00a0because if the Muslims, for\u00a0any reason, lose their spiritual battle, humanity\u00a0will suffer irreparable losses. We are\u00a0reminded in verse 19 of Surahtul Al\u00a0Hadid:<\/p>\n

“And those who\u00a0believe in Allah and His Messengers –<\/i><\/div>\n
They are the Sincere\u00a0(Lovers of Truth) and the Witnesses<\/i><\/div>\n
(who testify), In the\u00a0eyes of their Rabb: They shall have<\/i><\/div>\n
their Reward and their\u00a0Light.”<\/i><\/div>\n

Alal Muslimeena Jami’ah! The\u00a0Muslim Ummah have very good reasons to believe that their\u00a0Book, the Most\u00a0Glorious Qur’an, is the Master Book of Revelation and the Standard of\u00a0Religious\u00a0Truth. Muslims believe that Islam has come to reaffirm the Eternal Divine\u00a0Message\u00a0and settle the past religious disputes so that mankind may embark upon\u00a0creative constructive\u00a0activities in all walks of life. The does not mean that Muslims\u00a0set themselves apart from or\u00a0above the rest of mankind.<\/p>\n

Islam cannot and must not be\u00a0imposed on any one nor should the human race be classified\u00a0into inferior and\u00a0superior ranks. Muslims do not entertain the concept of favoured and\u00a0condemned\u00a0nations or endorse the doctrine of the Chosen and the Gentile.\u00a0Muslims are commissioned to convey\u00a0the Divine Message to mankind and to make their\u00a0indispensable contribution to\u00a0humanity. In other words, Muslims cannot afford to be\u00a0indifferent, exclusive,\u00a0or arrogant.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/div>\n
It is their solemn Islamic duty to open wide their minds to\u00a0all\u00a0realities of life and stretch far their arms to all people of whatever class,\u00a0creed, race, or\u00a0nationality.\u00a0The good that they can do and the\u00a0services they can render will fully materialize only when\u00a0they put Islam into\u00a0practice and associate with other people in a kind, humane spirit of\u00a0Islam.Islam is the Din of Haqq, it gives freedom of a very high degree in\u00a0abundant measures\u00a0and frees the mind from superstitions and fills it with\u00a0truth.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Islam frees the soul from sin and\u00a0wrong and quickens it with goodness\u00a0and purity.\u00a0Islam frees the self from vanity\u00a0and greed, from envy and tensions, from fear and insecurity.\u00a0Islam frees man\u00a0from subjugation to false deities and low desires, and unfolds before him\u00a0the\u00a0beautiful horizons of goodness and excellence. Submission to the good Will of\u00a0Almighty\u00a0Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala, together with obedience to His beneficial\u00a0Law, is the best\u00a0safeguard of peace and harmony.<\/div>\n
\nIn view of all these\u00a0circumstances, as dedicated Muslims, we must make a fresh introduction\u00a0to\u00a0Islam. It is not our intention to become blind fanatics or narrow-minded people\u00a0because\u00a0Islam is strongly opposed to such things. We must re-acquaint ourselves\u00a0with the Truth and\u00a0with the great beauty of Islam in order to provide ourselves\u00a0with the spiritual insight into the\u00a0universe and a moral approach to the human\u00a0condition.<\/p>\n

Once we realize this, it will make\u00a0us responsible citizens of our respective countries,\u00a0honorable members of the\u00a0human race, and above all else, Allah-minded people.\u00a0Does\u00a0the\u00a0picture I have drawn here mean a pessimistic outlook on the future of Islam\u00a0in the modern\u00a0world? Or is it a brave confession of the despair and\u00a0helplessness to which the Muslim\u00a0Ummah seem subject? Or is it a reflection of\u00a0the expected outcome of a losing spiritual battle\u00a0that the Muslims are fighting\u00a0all over the world today? Certainly not!<\/p>\n

Pessimism and despair are contrary\u00a0to the spirit of Islam, and the helplessness is\u00a0incompatible with faith in\u00a0Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala. As mentioned earlier, the\u00a0future of Islam is\u00a0the future of humanity, and if humanity has any future – there is a great and\u00a0bright future in store for Islam. At this stage it is imperative for Muslims to\u00a0set the records\u00a0straight.\u00a0There are still some very\u00a0ignorant people who continue to call our religion\u00a0“Mohammedanism” and\u00a0refer to us as “Mohammedans\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Muslims totally reject and protest\u00a0the use of these words. This misnomer implies that the\u00a0religion takes its name\u00a0after a mortal being, namely, Nabee Muhammad (peace be upon him) and\u00a0that Islam is no\u00a0more than another\u00a0\u201c ism”. Another\u00a0wrong implication of this misnomer is that people may think that the\u00a0‘Mohammedans’\u00a0worship Nabee Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the same way as other people believe\u00a0in their respective religions. All these implications are\u00a0seriously wrong or at best totally misleading.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Islam is not another\u00a0“ism”. Muslims do not, I repeat, we do not worship Nabee Muhammad (peace be\u00a0upon him).\u00a0Muslims worship Almighty Allah Alone. \u00a0Nabee \u00a0Muhammad (peace be\u00a0upon him) was only a mortal human\u00a0being commissioned by Almighty Allah to teach the\u00a0Word of Almighty Allah and lead an\u00a0exemplary life. No matter what the avowed enemies of Islam have\u00a0to say, Nabee\u00a0Muhammad, the Beloved of Almighty Allah stands in history as the\u00a0best\u00a0model for man in piety and perfection. He is a living proof of what man can be\u00a0and of\u00a0what he can accomplish in the realm of excellence and virtue.<\/p>\n

Beyond that, the philosophy of\u00a0love as a basic motivation is not new, but in our times most\u00a0people do not\u00a0seriously embrace it. It extends across religion and race, hence the importance\u00a0for its adherents to reach out and join one another. It is a need felt by all\u00a0of humanity. Yes,\u00a0the world could change. But that will never come about\u00a0without diligent, selfless effort on\u00a0the part of those who believe in its\u00a0importance.<\/p><\/div>\n

Alhumdulillah! There are promising signs on the horizon these days, despite the encompassing darkness, evil and gloom, of a return to the sanctuary of Islam being manifested in all parts of the world. The return of the remnants of a vilified, defeated, fugitive, stereotyped and scattered people, weakened by exhaustion while panting after banners alien to the true spirit of Islam and the Sunnah of Almighty Allah’s Beloved Nabee Sallallahoo Alayhi Wasallam. People everywhere are returning to the sanctuary of Islam whose sanctities were violated when they separated themselves from it, and to the banner whose majesty ceased when it was abandoned.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
They return to Islam calling out its name in every place, seeking from it honour, dignity, justice, freedom and security. Allah be praised! These are indeed hopeful signs. This is an indication that the Muslim Ummah has found itself, after being lost and having gone astray, and that it is echoing one call emitted from their innermost being without dissimulation or pretence. Amidst all this, one united cry echoes in all parts of the world, calling to the banner of Islam, crying out for Islamic unity and brotherhood. It is call coming from the innermost being of the Ummah, from quarters expected and unexpected.<\/div>\n

The Muslim Ummah have reached a stage in their history where it is of the utmost importance to bear in mind that the Most Holy and Glorious Qur’an was sent by Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala for a definite and specific purpose. We should not cast aside or disregard its metaphorical language without searching for its divine reason and meanings, for Almighty Allah Azza Wajjal does not waste words or use them idly. He blessed us abundantly with His\u00a0 Mahabbah and gave us His Din, His Book and His Beloved Nabee Muhammad Ibn Abdullah Sallallahoo Alayhi Wasallam as a clear guidance for life on this earth and for the life awaiting us in the Aghirah.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
As the present tidal wave of Islamic awakening spreads throughout the world, the forces hostile to Islam are slowly been driven to great despair. Amidst all this Fithnah, hatred and turmoil confronting humanity today, one united cry echoes all over the world calling for Islamic unity. It is the great awakening…..it is the guidance….it is the light….it is the conscience of the Muslim Ummah that has awakened and is guided and illuminated. It is no longer the call of an individual or an organization. It is the voice of the heavens descending once again onto the Doonya.<\/div>\n

Alhumdulillah Hi Rabbil Ala’meen! There are promising signs emerging on the horizon, despite the encompassing darkness and gloom. Allaho Akbar! Allaho Akbar! Allaho Akbar!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n

And Almighty Allah knows best<\/p><\/div>\n

\nAnd Peace be upon those who follow the\u00a0Guidance.
\nThe Truth is from Almighty Allah; the\u00a0errors are all<\/div>\n
mine and I stand to be corrected.<\/p>\n
