Objectives of the Shariah, by Nouman Ali Khan

NAK

Scholars and Da’ees (those who invite people to Islam) are not necessarily the same people. Every scholar may also be a da’ee, but every da’ee is not usually a scholar.

Muslims often trap themselves into rigid adherence to outward rules of their deen, without giving thought to the long term objectives of the Divine Law. Shariah sets out to ease our way to Allah’s good pleasure, not only in the next world, but in this world also. Without this guidance, life actually becomes more difficult. We need to ponder and reflect more, before we make hasty judgements.
