God is merciful. The Prophet Muhammad was merciful. So we ourselves should be merciful. Faith truly does come from within and cannot be forced from the outside inward. And a resounding YES that our faith of Islam has been hijacked and is being used for POLITICAL purposes and not for the glory of Allah. We MUST demystify our faith because being shrouded in mystery is the cause of many misconceptions about Islam and about Muslims. I live in the US and there is a growing hatred and prejudice here for Muslims and Islam and it is alarming. People MUST know that true Islam is not a faith of guns and bombs but of mercy, compassion, values, and beautiful creation not destruction!
